The Chinese New Year festival in San Francisco was amazing! It rained a little bit, but not that much.
Saturday, my uncle was supposed to fly in early but couldn’t because his flight was canceled. So he has to wait on stand by.
We drove in and got some dim sum. It was really good. Unfortunately, my brother found a nail in one of his dumplings so we got that for free. We walked around a lot. We took Memphis to the rides and went on every ride twice. We even played some of the games and won stuff.
We checked into the hotel and watched the parade from the steps. They were like perfect seats. We got some swords and Memphis attacked everyone. He was so cute.
My uncle finally got in and he surprised us all! We went and got some dinner. We ate a lot!
Sunday, we woke up and had breakfast in the hotel. Then we walked through Chinatown and just checked everything out. We took the trolley to the Ferry Building and got some oysters at Hog Island Oyster Co. We ordered 6 dozen and had some chowder, gumbo and grilled cheese.
It was just a blast overall. It was so much fun.
I really want faux wood blinds on my windows in my home. I think they would look great. This website has amazing prices for them!
