Ever just look around at rings? You kind of want them to pop the question, but you kind of don’t at the same time. I just like the ring shopping and the wishing. Maybe even doodling a custom design. I know it won’t happen any time soon. I’m not even quite sure that I believe in marriage anymore. Things have changed drastically from when I was little. I just don’t know what I actually believe in anymore. It’s kind of sad, but it’s the truth. Things change. But if I were to get a ring, I think it would be one of these scott kay rings. They’re really nice.

I don’t know if I would go with the typical ring. Maybe something different and totally off the wall. I would go with whatever A picks because he has good taste and he knows me so well. I think that’s a good idea.

Happy anniversary.

My Labor Day Weekend was great! I talked A into going to the beach. I’m glad that we went. I wanted to go to the beach again when the water was warmer. I didn’t have class on Monday so I figured this would be perfect. We didn’t go on Friday night, but we went on Saturday morning. A went and got his hair cut and then we packed and took off.

We checked into the hotel and then we went down to the beach. We just walked around and it was nice and warm. The water was amazing. Then we decided to get some sushi, but I didn’t really like it. It was kind of gross and I got into a tiff with the waitress. Not so nice.

Sunday, we went to the flea market/trade center. There was a lot of nice stuff there but we didn’t get anything. I got some funnel cake though! Then we went to the beach. It was nice and warm and the water was great! I had so much fun. We hung out for hours at the beach. Then we went back to the hotel and showered. Got something to eat at a Chinese buffet. It was good! Then we went and shot pool all night. I never played before so A taught me! It was a lot of fun.

Monday, we checked out and went down to the marina. We bought some fresh shrimp. Then we drove home. It was so much fun! I’m so glad that we went! I’ll post photos once I find my camera. I have no idea where it is.

Black Friday is something I can’t wait for! I love shopping on that day. I didn’t go last year because A hates stuff like that. But I went a couple of years before that and I love it. I’m excited for this year’s!

We have been talking about moving soon. I don’t know exactly what we are looking for, but I’m getting excited about decorating it. We haven’t figured out what part of town we want to stay in. That’s hard, since his job sites change so often. I have school up north, but I don’t think we really want to stay up north by the school. I have to find a job, and that might play into it.

I think we want a 2 bedroom place. Use the second bedroom as an office and then Memphis’ room when he comes to visit me. I can’t wait for that. Definitely do up the bedroom for us. I’m not sure how yet. I want a nice living room. Probably going to be hanging out in there the most. I love to cook so I want enough counter space. A big fridge because I like to buy my stuff in bulk.

I’m not sure about what kind of furniture that I want to get. I was interested in rustic furniture. I think that would look pretty cool. I think for the dining room, I want wooden furniture. I want a king size bed, probably cal-king. I don’t know if we’re going to keep the water bed. I don’t know what else yet. I like thinking about it. I want some photos on the walls too.

I love the thought of it just being the two of us. I’m excited about it a lot. I love A.

Maybe in the next couple of years. I’m hoping that it can be done. I want to see everyone out there too.

To my US Americans: Happy Independence Day! I know I’m a couple hours early, but everything seems to be happening tonight. It’s loud outside. We also picked up some fireworks, so I can’t wait to light those. They’re illegal where I lived in California, so I’m excited for that.

To my boyfriend: Happy birthday A! I love you and I’m so proud of you. You make me so happy. I can’t imagine life without you.

Do you ever need emergency medical assistance when you’re on the road? Sometimes things happen when you least expect it. This is a prepaid plan that lets you get help whenever you need it. I think it is a big plus if you are on the road a lot.

A and I went and saw Prince of Persia. We liked it! I thought it was pretty interesting. I actually wasn’t that interested in seeing it. I never played the video game, I didn’t know the story line. But I liked how it went. It was pretty good.

I kind of want to see Sex & The City 2 but I don’t have any girlfriends to see it with. I also want to see Letters to Juliet, I think that’s a cute movie.

The movie theater here is doing some late night old movies. I think it’s a great idea. A wants to go see Blazing Saddles. I think that would be a lot of fun. He loves that movie. It would be fun to see it on a big screen. They’re doing Boogie Nights this weekend.

They’re also setting up seeing Twilight and New Moon before Eclipse comes out at midnight. I want to do that, but I got to find someone who will sit through that with me. I know A won’t. I have to talk him into sitting through Eclipse with me, which I know is going to be hard.

What are your thoughts of the 3d TVs? I think they’re pretty cool, especially the ones by Samsung. I would love to own one. I wonder how it will affect your eye sight in a couple of years. I think it would be a lot of fun to have in the house though.

Ever have the issue of needing car repair and then going to the closest place to your house or somewhere that a friend has recommended and gotten completely ripped off? I hate that. I seem to go through that a lot. I always go somewhere that is recommended to me by a friend’s friend and then I end up paying way too much for car repair. Or I get totally ripped off because the mechanic sees that I am a girl and I would have no idea what’s going on. Well, that doesn’t happen anymore.

I needed to get my water pump replaced a while back, but I was afraid to see what everyone was going to charge me around my house. I decided to look online instead and I found RepairPal.com! They are amazing! They offer a free service to get you, the consumer, repair estimates, ratings, and reviews. You also get advice that you normally can’t get anywhere else. You can get estimates on what you need done to the car, find a repair shop, get information, and/or track your service. You can even ask a question about your car, and people will help answer it. They will also give you an estimate on what your question pertains to and they will let you know which repair shops can help you out with that.

If you are ever looking for Chicago auto repair, this is the place to do it at. You can find so much information here! You can find auto repair for anywhere in the continental United States so you should definitely check it out. Whether you have a Honda Civic or a Toyota Corolla, this is the website for you!

We decided to go to Corpus Christi once I got back from California. And it was amazing. We drove down on Thursday and then met up with A’s friend Derick. He wanted to make sure that he still lived there. We ended up getting Mexican food pretty late that day.

Friday, we went and saw the USS Lexington which was amazing. We had a blast on that thing. We walked the beach and checked out the gift shops. We met up with Derick at Niko’s Steakhouse and had some of their 25 cent wings and oysters during Happy Hour. I also fell in love with the Forbidden Fruit martini. It was amazing. Afterwards, we went to the mall to do a little bit of shopping. I got an awesome Coach bag and some amazing shoes! Then we met up with Derick at some bars and clubs.

Saturday, we went and got some buffet. Then we hit up the flea market. They had a lot of stuff. Then we drove out to Port Aransas and hung out on the beach. There was a ton of traffic because of Spring Break 2010, but it was alright. We ate at Castaway’s. They had great fish and calamari. We got back to the room and then we went out downtown to the clubs.

Sunday, we drove out to the beach, just to see the water one last time. Then we drove to San Antonio. We ate at Pico de Gallo, which was great, like always. I like it there. Then we headed home. It was a great weekend!

Do you have issues with pimples on scalp? I don’t know many people that admit to it, but a lot of people tend to have some. You should check out this website to see how to get rid of them and how to make them stop from coming back.

We actually went and got to play with it in the park and we took some photos. It was really nice. I had so much fun. We ended up eating at Denny’s to warm up and walking around the mall. We drove around, watching it for a while before coming home. Then we passed out for hours! It was insane. Knocked out for like 4 hours. Haha.

Everyone needs auto insurance. Do not be without it! It’s against the law in most states. It’s just hard sometimes to find one that you can afford. I know how that goes. This website can help you out with that!

We went to a Christmas party last night. It was pretty fun. It had a casino theme so we got to gamble a little. It wasn’t for money, it was for more tickets in the raffle. We didn’t win anything but they had some good door prizes. I’m jealous. We got to take a photo so I hope that I don’t look stupid in it. I thought that was sweet. We also got some cups. It was in honor of the 15th anniversary as well. The food wasn’t so great, but it was just catered, so go figure. Had some good desserts and some good drinks. I liked their margaritas, haha. I got to meet some people, so that was fun. It was cold though, and foggy. I mean, it was indoors but it sucked trying to leave.

I need an Outer Banks vacation rental. I want to go on a vacation so bad. So I think one of these would work out the best. What do you think?

Yesterday was my 23rd birthday! I can’t believe I’m 23. My mom emailed me from China on the 16th, so that was sweet of her. I didn’t think she would have time to go find a computer to email me or anything to that effect. My sister and brother called me at midnight to be the first ones to wish me a happy birthday. My brother and I talked on the phone for a good hour and a half. My dad woke me up the next day to wish me a happy birthday and we were on the phone for a good hour.

I woke up to roses and a card from A. Sweetest thing ever. The flowers are gorgeous! I don’t remember the last time I got roses. I keep looking at them. I think they brighten up the room. The card he got me was hilarious.

I had to work, which I knew. Work wasn’t that bad. Tons of birthday wishes and a coworker started a money tree on me. At the end of the night, I had like $20 that was pretty cool.

I came home and made dinner and watched Star Trek, which I thought was a great movie. I liked it a lot. I never seen any of the others, so I was a bit in the dark, but I figured it out towards the end. I think we’re going to go out and celebrate my birthday this weekend or something to that effect.

Now that it’s getting colder, I’m definitely going to need an electric blanket. I had one but I think I left it in California. That makes me sad. I wish I had it with me now. But would I be able to use that with a water bed? I don’t want to pop it, haha. I need to look into that.
