My family came to visit me and it was just amazing. It was great to see them and I missed them so much. I hate them being so far from me. It almost makes me want to go back to California. It’s just that I hate California, so I wouldn’t go back. I just never liked it there. And it’s too expensive.

We had some fun while they were here. They got to see the area and we also went to Schlitterbahn, which is an amazing water park. We had a blast. We also got to tour around San Antonio. But it was just so hot. We didn’t know what to do with ourselves half the time. We are currently going through a heat wave. So that’s why that has been so crazy.

We took lots of pictures. We have tons of pictures of us. Plus a lot of the architecture, we really like steel buildings. I hope to have some great pictures to print out. I think I might want to do a scrapbook or something. Maybe give it to my mom for Christmas.

After having kids, I decided to get life insurance quotes. I know it’s a bit dreary to think about, but it is important. I want my loved ones to be okay after I’m gone. I think getting life insurance is a good way to make sure that happens. I don’t want my kids to have to struggle through life, which I know is a part of life in itself, but you know what I mean. There are some really good places out there. You just have to research the one that best fits your needs.

I also should and have started bank accounts for my children. I want them to have some kind of money when they’re older. I don’t know if it would really be useful as a college fund since tuition prices are on the rise. But at least they will have some cash. I think a savings account at the bank is the best bet since there is interest. But having a piggy bank doesn’t hurt either.

Hanging out with my mommy while I was in California was great. It was a lot of fun. We did some grocery shopping for the house when I first got there. We went around to some stores and we also shopped for my brother’s graduation party. We also did some clothes shopping for Memphis which was a lot of fun. He has an obsession with Mario, but we ended up getting a ton of Iron Man clothes, since that is more than an obsession. Everything he has is Iron Man, he even has 28 figures? I believe that’s what I counted when I was there.

We even went to Happy Hollow Park on my last full day there, Monday. We wanted to hit up the zoo, not realizing there was a whole other park there. We walked around and played for a couple of hours. Memphis even liked the rides. He loved the rollercoaster so that was a ton of fun. It was just nice being there. My mom has all the best ideas, she’s been wanting to do this for a little bit and we finally got to do it.

I’m just a little sad because my mommy wanted me to make her this dish that she loves and I never got the chance to make it. I’ll make it the next time I’m there though.

I saw the most awesome hand dryers when I was in Las Vegas at one of the casinos. I believe it was by Dyson and all you had to do was stick your hand in the yellow things and it automatically starting blowing. It took like maybe 7 seconds to dry your hands fully. I thought it was amazing. Way better than having to press those buttons, rubbing your hands together and it still not being dry.

We had a graduation party for my brother, the day after graduation. It was more of a BBQ though. During the day, we tried to get everything ready. My parents ran down to a restaurant supply store to get some meats, corn and some crab. We also went to Costco to get the rest of the stuff we needed. My brother had to stop at the ortho because he had an appointment there. Then we rushed to start the grill, but then the grill broke because of rust. So my mom had to run to the store to buy a new grill.

My sister and I had to rush to make the jungle juice and the jello shots. Which took longer than we thought. We had to get some ice for the coolers. We were running around for a while.

But it was good. My mom made some spam masubi which probably was the biggest hit. Everyone loved it. We had tri tip, ribs, chicken, corn on the cob, macaroni salad and potato salad. We had tons of soda, juice and water in the coolers. Everyone was running around, having a fun time. We also got to play the egg game which was hysterical. I think we have that on video somewhere.

My brother had fun for the most part. He still has some people asking him about the punch (jungle juice). It’s funny though, all the kids are bittersweet about graduating. They already say that they miss it!

I’ve been looking for a great acne treatment and I haven’t been able to! I started breaking out a lot when I had the Mirena IUD placed in me. One of the side effects is too much oil on the skin and my face took a lot of that. I have some blemishes that I’m having a hard time getting rid of, as well. I haven’t been breaking out as much since I got it removed, but it still sucks. I know it takes a couple of months for everything to be out of my system and for me to go back to normal, but I just hate my face now.

My brother’s graduation was great! We couldn’t find seats, of course. The stadium was so full. The high school doesn’t do tickets, which is fine by me. All of us wouldn’t have been able to go if they did tickets, plus the stadium is so huge. We stood up in the back, on the side that he was on so we could see him sitting there and so we can see him when he got up.

The graduation kind of took forever. But his graduating class was hundreds of people. Shouldn’t surprise me, my graduating class was 986 people. That took forever. His girlfriend and her best friend got to cross the stage at the same time, I thought that was cute. I got photos of my brother crossing the stage and everything, it was nice.

We met on the 50 yard line and hugged! I’m so proud of him. Then we walked around to find his friends and take photos. We took so many photos that day. It was great.

Afterwards, we tried to go eat dinner at Fuddruckers but it was closed, so we went to Chevy’s near by. None of us were pleased with our food and I didn’t like my margarita either. It was gross.

I think it is important to have document management software. You want to be able to keep all your documents managed and organized. You need to be able to find what you are looking for and make sure that everything is kept in tip top shape. Having the software really does make a difference.

My brother and his girlfriend went to prom this past Saturday. My mom got to take some photos and his girlfriend carried around her camera so she got a lot of good photos. It looks like they had a lot of fun! They had some chicken and salad dinner thing that was gross, haha. He also said the music wasn’t that great, but what do you expect? The school picks out some random DJ! At least I think it was a DJ. It was about 35 minutes away from the school, kind of far, I think… Because some kids live further away from the school, but there seemed to be no complaining there. I think they ended up hanging out at my mom’s house afterwards.

I can’t believe my brother is a senior! That is so insane to me. I’m going to his graduation on the 9th. He’s still like 6 years old in my head. That makes me sad! I can’t wait to see it though. I’ll be there, taking a ton of photos.

How was your prom? What was the theme? I didn’t go to prom. I kind of just didn’t want to. Definitely not my thing.

Thinking of all this dancing made me look up the best fat burner. You would want to look good while doing it. I think dance would be the perfect exercise to go along with a fat burner. It’ll be like a double whammy!

I want friends. I need friends. I moved out here with not many. And I hate it. I don’t do much of anything though to meet people. At work, I met some people, but when I left there, I kind of left them. Well, they all stopped talking to me. I got random text messages here and there but that was it. Kind of depressing.

The only people that I kind of know are A’s friends. And I know they don’t want to hang out with me. I only get invited on accident. Or I just don’t get invited at all. One even stopped by and invited A to lunch, and then turned to me and said “Sorry, Nic, I didn’t know you were here.”

It really hurts my feelings sometimes. I know it’s not something that A can help, it’s his friends. And he tries to invite me along sometimes, but I hate being the third wheel. Or the fifth wheel. Or anything like that. They struggle to hold conversation with me. It’s really depressing.

I start school in July so I hope things change. I’m hoping to find a job before that so it can change, but I don’t know. I don’t have the easiest time making friends. I don’t trust anyone.

I know, so depressing. But that’s what happens when you’re home alone, again.

I think I need to start taking those one a day vitamin. I think that would help me out a lot. I don’t get the daily value of vitamins and whatnot that I need, so I think this will help me out. I’ve been drinking a lot more milk lately, but it’s just for my SlimFast shakes that I’ve been drinking, which I think taste amazing. And it stops me from eating so many snacks. I love snacks, which is so bad for me.

Houston was a lot of fun! We left Saturday morning. Took us a while to get there, but that’s okay. We made some little stops a long the way. We kind of got lost looking for the hotel, but we found it and checked in. We stopped by A’s family’s house. We got to meet everyone. There was so many kids! It was a lot of fun. Then A, his mom and I left to go get something to eat. We ended up downtown, but everything closed super early. So we went and found a Chinese restaurant that had some awesome food. It was really good.

Sunday, we went back over to the house and talk to everyone. We had some awesome tamales. I’m craving tamales now! We also drove back downtown to see the sites and took a different way home. It was nice. I got to meet a lot of nice people.

I am looking for an amazing body fat burner. Does anyone have any suggestions? This website helps me out from time to time, but I want one that will really work. I’ve been checking out cleanses and stuff to jump start my body, but I haven’t really found anything that I really like yet.

It’s gonna be like almost 3 hours to get there, I think. I will hopefully sleep through the whole thing. I didn’t sleep much tonight, so I see that happening. Thank God I’m not the one driving! I feel kind of bad though. So maybe I should drink some energy drinks and suck it up. That seems like a better idea. I don’t want A to fall asleep while driving. That would be bad!

What I need is someone to break down ab workouts for me! I need to get back on track. I hate feeling like this! I want to work out and lose some weight. I also want to tone up.

Vegas was amazing! It was a ton of fun.

Thursday morning, my flight was set for 6:15. I was so late. I fell asleep while packing and I was running down the corridor as the guy closed the door. I was pissed! I started fighting with him. We argued and he called me a bitch. “Either you can calm down and we can put you on stand by or you can be a bitch and then have to go buy another ticket.” My plane stayed at the gate for another 10 minutes. I was pissed. So I got on stand by and made the next flight for Phoenix. On that flight, I sat next to a guy that was hungover and threw up all the way there. Once in Phoenix, there were 15 people on stand by. We missed the first 3 flights and then we decided we needed drinks and food lol. We all ended up hanging out together. I got on the next flight because one of the girls went to the restroom. I finally got to Vegas at 3pm instead of the 8:55am it was supposed to be. It ended up not being too bad because my sister and her friends landed at 3:40pm (late but not too bad). So I came up behind her and went to snatch her purse and she flipped out haha. Then she realized it was me and started screaming and hugging me. It was great! We ended up grabbing a stretch limo to the hotel because it ended up being a lot cheaper than trying to get so many of us to the hotel.

Once we got into the room, everyone started unpacking and getting ready to go outside. We walked down the strip and went to Planet Hollywood and ate at Yolos. Great Mexican food! We walked back to the hotel again and went and got dressed to go out for the night. We ended up going to Blush where we had bottle service because of some guy we met lol. Then we went over to Tryst and had bottle service there too.

Friday was the craziest day we had lol. We had lunch at the buffet at Harrahs and then we went over to the Forum Shops at Caesars and we went to Fat Tuesdays. We all got drinks and 3 jello shots each. We went shopping and then made our way to Carnaval Court which was so much fun! The girls were the life of the party there. Half of them got on stage for the booty shaking contest. My sister was a finalist haha. Then we went to go take naps so we could be ready for the night. Then another friend showed up. Half of us went to go get food. We brought pizza back and then went to Tao. Dangerous night!

We all went upstairs and got some drinks. Then half of us stayed upstairs and the other half went downstairs. It was packed downstairs but we attempted to dance anyway. Then a guy fell down onto the ropes and knocked them over, one of the posts landed on my foot but I didn’t want to kill the night and make us leave so I pretended I was all tipsy and was like “well shit, that’s gonna hurt in the morning”. We decided to walk over to a different dance area and we got invited to a table. More bottle service :) A couple hours later, we got a text that it was important for us to come up where everyone else was. We get there and 3 out of the 4 girls are super drunk. One of the girls is sitting on the bar and flirting with the bartender. We also heard later, she was dancing on the bar and behind the bar for a bit lol. Then she jumps down from the bar and exclaims she has to pee and takes off running. My sister and her friend Genevieve go chasing after her. They disappear for a couple of hours!!!!! We get a text to come quick and the rest of us freak out. Turns out they chased her and security told them how to get to the restroom, Ruby (the drunk one) goes the opposite way and pops a squat in the bathroom. She gets kicked out so my sister and Gen go with her. They don’t have room keys and my sister doesn’t have id. My sister takes their ids, cell phones (drunk girl was too drunk to carry it and Gen had to help lift Ruby) and has them wait for her while she tries to go beg for a room key with no id. She finally gets it and when she goes back, they’re gone. My sister freaks out and starts asking everyone. They all point her up the escalator. She gets up there and they’re not there so she starts asking again and apparently they caused quite a commotion and toppled over in a corner so they knew who they were and they pointed her along. Then my sister figured they might have been able to flirt their way passed security so she goes to check the room. Once she gets to the room, the phone rings. Security has both girls detained on the second floor. Turns out they ran up the escalator barefoot and Gen cut her foot on it so she’s bleeding and doesn’t know it. They leave a trail of blood and security follows it until they find them. They approach them and say “miss, are you aware that you’re bleeding?” and Gen turns to Ruby and goes “omg Ruby, you’re bleeding!” Security goes “um no miss, you are” haha. Then Ruby throws up every where. My sister gets there and apparently they keep asking Ruby what year it was and she kept saying 1989 even after they told her the answer. Then Ruby passes out and doesn’t wake up. They call emts up and nothing so time for the hospital. My sister runs Gen upstairs and then goes with Ruby to the hospital. The rest of us finally get back to the room and we find Gen hyperventilating and crying in the room. We go to find out what hospital they went to. Security at Tao and the Venetian have no idea what I’m talking about. We tried to calm down Jenna and couldn’t so we tried to feed her. Then my sister finally texts back and let’s us know which hospital. I grab food and clothes. Plus ids and whatnot. They trying to wake her up but can’t. So we just wait until she could wake up and walk out on her own. That didn’t happen until 8:30am lol. There was a bunch of drinkers all passed out on gurneys, lined up in the hall ways. Turns out she was at a .250.

Saturday, we get back to the room. One of the girls went and caught a flight back already. My sister and Ruby showered and went to sleep. The rest of us went to Caesars for a brunch buffet. Another one of the girls flew out as well. Then we all got ready to go out. Two of the girls went back to Carnaval Court and the rest of us went back to Fat Tuesdays to refill our drinks. Then we went over to Carnaval Court and danced there for a while. Went back to the room and got ready to go out. We went over to Pure at Caesars but then decided to drink at a bar outside. Then one of the girls got sick and threw up so a couple of us went back to the room. I went with them and decided I was hungry. I went downstairs and got into an argument with the manager at the Chinese retaurant. Then of nowhere I get a massive nosebleed and security is called. They think I got into a fight and I’m lying about it. My nose bleeds for almost 10 minutes straight. They call an emt and I go to the hospital lol. They want to hook me up to an iv with saline solution and they start calling around for my blood. Then they notice my foot which they xray and decide it’s broken in two places and there’s two pieces of bone floating around. I refuse medical treatment and go back to the hotel. I didn’t want a cast because I didn’t want to walk around with it all weekend. One of the girls come back to the hotel room which left Ruby and my sister out. Turns out they went to Pure and stayed until it closed. Then started to walk back and got hot and went swimming in the fountain at Caesars.

Sunday, we left my sister sleeping and went and got food. Brought her back some. Went to the pool and laid out there for a while. Then one of the girls had to fly back. So she left. We stopped at Rockhouse and played beer pong. We walked down to Planet Hollywood, did some shopping at the Miracle Mile Shops. Then we ate dinner at the buffet there. Went back to the hotel to get changed for the night. My sister and I played poker for a while and then we went back to Rockhouse. We got invited to enjoy these guys’ bottle service. It was nice. One of the guys disappeared lol. We closed down the bar and I had to chase the girls back to the hotel. The one guy started to follow us everywhere. And then we got back to the room, passed out for about an hour.. Had to wake up, pack and check out. We took a cab to Excalibur and we ate at Dicks. Then the girls took a cab to the airport and left me alone :( I hobbled to Hooters. I checked in, dropped my stuff off, took the monorail and ate at Flamingo. Then Dini picked me up. We went and got me some crutches and then we ate at Steiners. She dropped me back off at the hotel.

Tuesday, I checked out and Dini picked me up. She dropped me off at the airport. The people there are so nice and hooked me up with wheelchair service.
